I was inspired to paint this after listening to Rabbi Jonathan Rietti’s introduction on an episode of “Let’s Get Real with Coach Menachem” titled Thank you HASHEM. Rabbi Rietti answers the question of why this mitzvah is not counted as one of the 613, and gave me a beautiful lens through which to view this powerful statement.
