“Gam Zu L’tovah” - “This is also for good” Gemara, Taanis

Nachum Ish Gamzu was a Tanna with endless emuna who constantly expressed his total faith in Hashem with this expression. Whatever occurred to him, his response was "Gam zu l'tova." When I painted this background I was thinking about all the difficult and painful things that we go through, both on a shared and personal level. The beam of gold is the understanding that amidst all our challenges is the reality that Hashem is with us and we are never alone. May we all see the revealed good, the beam of gold, of whatever it is we are struggling with today.
